Tai Chi Ch’uan

T’ai Chi Ch’uan for health is a series of 24 forms learned over a series of 12 sessions.  This is the Traditional Chinese Yang Style short form.  It is a form of exercise that can be easily adapted to fit the physical capabilities of people of all ages.  Repetition, review and individual attention is given generously at each session.  T’a Chi Ch’uan movements are done slowly, gently and evenly with the result of improved circulation, respiration and strengthening of the internal organs.
This class will be a 12 week series of one hour sessions in which two forms will be introduced in each class.  It is a building of forms.  It is an instructional class and after the 12 weeks your skills and ability should be such that you will be able to practice the forms on your own.  Continued practice and learning are good insurance to being able to derive the health benefits associated with Tai chi.
